Everything's Coming Up Roses

Happy Wednesday!

I am blessed to call Nancy, my Dear Friend...
Means the World to Our Family.

~ AND ~

From Yesterday...
~ It's
ALMOST Spring!

I just had the idea to post my arrangement of white roses tonight -

Too bad it's not a full moon~ they'd look lovely.

I ran outside with camera in hand but it's a little too dark on the porch
and I'm not using my flash - or porch light!

Hopefully, before all my appointments tomorrow morning,
I'll run out gleefully and take a picture since it's almost Spring!

I decided I'm going to start enjoying some of my
cut flower arrangements
on my outside potting table.
This way you see them coming up the walk

and can enjoy them from inside the house looking out
to the green, green grass of home!

For now, here's a picture of the roses I did not get a chance to arrange.

Actually, I think they look quite lovely all clustered together
in the French Flower Mart Holder - it's huge and I don't mind
saying what a treasure it was to find. I will take a full picture
of this too - why do these ideas come to me at 10:45 at night
when I have much to do the next day?

Family asleep, inspiration awake!

My favorite flower is the rose and it's always been
white roses that hold a special place in my heart.

The White Rose:

Purity, Innocence, Silence, Secrecy, Reverence,
Humility, Youthfulness,

"I am worthy of you"
and Heavenly

What is your favorite flower and what meaning does it hold to you?

Happy almost Spring in all your favorite colors!

We're off for a while - see you Friday~ just in time
for the fun weekend!

xoxo, Tracie

Hi Tracie,

I also like roses the white one or the light pink. Of course I also like wild roses they are very special and simple. Then comes hydrangeas. I actually realized that I like blue flowers since it is not a color that too often appears in nature.
Happy almost spring to you too!

Tracie my pet, you make my day! It is such fun to read your blog. I'm sooo glad there is another man in your life besides our Alan. Guess what? I LOOOVE Anchovies. Shann thinks I'm nuts, she hates them with a passion. Silly girl.
Hugs, Coll :-}

Tracie, What a beautiful Springy posting. I think it is so neat that you are going to enjoy your flowers on the potting table on your porch. Hum,I could do one of those on the back porch...that's a neat idea you gave me. One thing I've been thinking ALOT more about lately, is the importance of celebrating the small joys in life. There is so much going on that can break our heart, and I believe you have captured the essence of celebrating the small joys. Oh my, my favorite that is a hard one. I'm such a "flowery" kind of girl! I'll have to think about this one all day, and get back with you. I don't know if I can narrow down a favorite. But at least if I do decide, I'll come visit you again and let you know. How'd that be? Have a great day today. xoRachel

Hi Rachel,
That'd be great if you think about it all day and come back for a visit later to let me know - even if you say, I couldn't make up my mind, I love them all!

Hi Tracie,

Oh your roses are lovely darling!! My favorite flower, hmmm...well I really do love roses too, especially pink ones but I also love gerber daisies, hot pink ones! We are still covered in snow here but I know spring is coming. I am headed to Tennessee next week to visit my sissie in law and it is warmer there so I might get to take my cropped pants and flippies (uh oh better shave my legs, it's been a long winter)haha!! Have a blessed day.

Hello Sweet Girl! I love, love, love, white roses. They are so beautiful and my favorite as well. Pink roses come in a very close second. Night is my time of inspiration as well. When the world has become quiet and still, you'll find me... thinking, dreaming, and creating.

Hugs! Nancy

I love roses and daisies. Your porch is going to be fabulous in the spring and summer. I love drinking tea on the porch. I wish I had an old bike leaning on my porch with a basket of flowers planted. I'm going to look for one soon.

Tracie, I said I would come back with a favorite, but I can''s just too hard. I love them all. I will think I've narrowed it down, and then I think of another one. I have a "thing" for looking deeply at all of the intricate details of a flower, and when I do that, well then...I'm "in love" with it. Right now I'm very anxious for my irises to bloom AND my beautiful pink bleeding hearts. Have a fun day, Tracie! You deserve it. xoRachel

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I love roses, they are so romantic and wonderful. Your roses inspire me to plant some white ones this year!

If you like white flowers, you should plant moon vine. It is an annual and grows fast and has enormous white flowers at night. Thus the name. I took pics for my neighbor of hers last year. Wish I'd saved them to show you.
