Happy Vacation Sweet Beach Girl

Bon Voyage, Beach Girl

Happy, Happy Vacation!

I just had to do a little tribute to my best friend, Jeannette~
She's going on vacation to Carmel next week
Hanging out at the beach and 17 Mile Drive
at Pebble Beach ~ where movie stars go (the brat!)
~maybe Gerard will be there for some reason?

She's been there for me A-l-w-a-y-s~ through thick and thin...

All you ladies out there know what I'm talking about~
So, how about wishing Jeannette a great time?
...and share with me something about a great friend of yours...
I love stories like that - girlfriends are the best!

...The only thing, can you believe it, she's going without me?

She may be able to get a flight into our little airport,
so we can spend a day together shopping (finger's crossed!)

Happy Weekend!

Lucky Jeannette! A vacation!! Friends are wonderful. I have recently posted about some of my buddies. They make life complete, don't they? One of my good friends and I are planning a little trip to the St. Louis area in August. We hope to antique and eat our way to and from!!

There's not much better than a girlfriend that's always been there! I hope Jeannette has a wonderful time, and that you two get to spend some time together too. I'm sure she'd take you if she could. I have a couple of friends I've been close to since 6th grade (in the early 1970's) and sometimes when we get together I feel like I'm about 13 years old!

I am jealous too. I love the 17 mile drive. I have a friend who's mother lives on the beach at Pebble Beach. It's beautiful there.

Hope you can go shopping. How's the smoke conditions where you live ?

Ciao

She's going to be down there the same time as Sheri and Sophee-A. Why aren't we going too? We've been good girls.
And Zeke, my mommy is jealous of your mommy's size 6's. She hasn't had those in her closet since 6th grade.
If it makes you feel any better, I am still struggling with the paperwork. I am so resistant to doing it.

Bon Voyage to your Jeannette! May she have a wonderful adventure. Yes! You both must make it happen to see one another!!!!

If you look at me, you will look inside of me you will find combination of all the beautiful woman who have graced my life. Without my friends, I would be nothing. My life would be empty!

Hi Tracie :)

She's going to my old haunting grounds! For a super fancy wonderful night out, tell her to go to Club 19 at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. For a casual night out, The Hog's Breath Inn in Carmel is the best. She probably already knows this stuff, but I loved those two places and I miss them terribly :(

I hope you get to go shopping with her!

Oh and I read about your size 6 RL's over in Lisa & Alfie's blog comments and I have some size 4 & 6RL's in my closet that I will never ever fit into again either LOL (wait! Why am I laughing?!)

hugs,
rue

Oh, what fun! We LOVE Carmel! In fact, that's where hubby and I spent our honeymoon night. Yes, only one night. We went back down there this year for our anniversary. Be sure to tell her to stop by "Pieces of Heaven" in "The Barnyard". It's a SUPER yummy chocolate shop! The BEST chocolate ever! Bountiful Baskets is there too, and they the most delicious balsamic vinegars! I want to get back down there and see if their Pineapple Balsamic Vinegar is ready yet. We bought the pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar, and it's absolutely heavenly! Good thing it's only about an hour and a half away.
