Here's the Bouquet & a Rant!

Okay, I finally got my pictures to load this morning
(better late than never!)

And my little angel is my model for today~

I have missed being out there with you in Blog Land so much
I'm planning on making the rounds today
(gee, it will take me a long time

to see what everyone's been up to - how fun ;)

Which is really a blessing for me since I've just got off the phone
with a lovely insurance company...
We've been waiting nine (yes 9) months to find out
what they will cover for our daughter's braces...

Have an insurance story (uh, nightmare) you wish to share?
Misery loves company, so they say.

I know, I usually try to keep "things light"~
but I must admit, it got the best of me today
(took nine months, but I finally reached my this is uncalled for factor!)

Please share...

In the meantime, I'm off to have fun in Blog Land ;) Yippee!

How can they put us off when there's an angel
like this in the household?

Off to Visit!

xoxoxo~

Yeah Tracie, here's my biggest insurance horror. Back in 1998, a semi ran me off the road. Lucky I didn't turn over in my SUV. I had three surgeries over the next months on my neck and hands, paid for by my husband's insurance company. I told them each time I'd had the wreck, blah-blah, and they gave me the official go ahead. Later, the insurance co. says I must pay them back for all the treatment, about $400,000, because the accident was NOT my fault. Had it been my fault, no problem. I filed bankruptcy rather than cave in to them. On my record all this time. Because the health insurance industry in this country is lower than pathetic and we let them run amok.

What in the world. Why did it take 9 months ?

I've worked in Dental for over 25 years and never heard of such a things. They must all be on Crack.

But, believe me I have had nightmare stories of dental insurance in my experiences.

Zeke is such a love. I am sure you smile at him each time you look at him.

Ciao Baby

Hey Glenda,
I think they are on crack - they keep needing one more piece of paperwork from us and we need to tell the same thing over and over... So I finally cracked today ;) Hopefully, it will get some results. We're supposed to hear by Friday... I'll be calling bright and early if I don't hear from my direct line person.

Thanks everyone for the support!

Hey Tracie,
I used to work for a dental office and did all of the billing. Dental insurance companies are in the business of making money. They procrastinate to avoid paying and are hostile about paying up. I have never met so many rude customer service representatives. They always got a little more polite when I asked to speak with their supervisor. Never go with the first person on the phone.
Just a nightmare. So sorry you are having to deal with this.
And how did you get Zeke to pose like that? Alfie won't sit still and that photo is just precious.

You are right, what an angel.Thats a very good picture. The insurance companies got everyone by the neck to put it nicely. You have to have it,pay for it,then when its time to dilver, they put you off. They make you feel like non people, while they sit and eat their steak everynite.Hows that for a rant ? Anyway, thanks Tracie for stoping by.I'm pretty sure I did invent the tree angel becauce I made it by accident the first time.LOL Hang in there and get them there braces as the rednecks say.Marie Antionette

Oh you are so sweet. thanks for visiting me. I do see the angel! At first I imagined it as a swan flying with it's neck down, but I like the guardian angel version better. My mom always loves to find things in clouds.
Your Zeke is a cutie! have fun in blogland and forget your insurance troubles for awhile!

I HOPE THE PROBLEM ITS SORTED NOW!

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY... BUT, NO... I HAVEN`T HEARD FROM "THE LADY", SHE NEVER REPLY TO ME...

OF COURSE, I remember Dr. Hardy and Jesse! Luke and Laura---did you see their wedding? My life revolved around that big event :-) We even had a Golden Retriever puppy named LUKE! Kids would ask my son (then 5) if the dog was named after Luke Skywalker and he would say NO, after Luke on Gen. Hosp. I was a bad SAHM! :-) The funny thing is even when he was in college and had an afternoon off, he would come over and watch GH (if I wasn't working) with me and actually carry on a conversation about it--trying to catch up on. Ah, family time :-) Good times.

I am sorry about your insurance issue--we're dealing with appealing a bill right now. Insurance---another one of those necessary evils.

There is nothing worse than waiting for beauracracy to do it's "thing" and insurance companies are never in a hurry to do what they are meant to do!!

We have a great dental plan and great health plan so we've never had issues with any of that.

The only hassle I ever had with an insurance company was after my sister died and I was doing the paperwork for her insurance policy. The company's records weren't up-to-date and the agent was an a*@ so I went right over his head and just kept pushing on to get it straightened out -- like a dog with a bone. But it turned me right off that company and I made sure the guy's superiors knew what a berk he was.

Whilst standing in line at my nearby Walmart this afternoon, my eyes caught sight of a really skinny Laura aka Genie Frances on a Soap Digest(or something like that!) and it said she was going to be (heart pounding here) on ANOTHER soap! Can this be true? Also is Brenda REALLY coming back again? Is Sonny leaving? All of these rumors. What do YOU know?:-)
