Summer Abundance

Look familiar?
We are so fortunate, our house is overflowing...

With Summer fruits~
I love, love, love tomatoes - do you?
We picked the figues from a neighbor's tree
(figue tree's on our list, so is an olive tree!)

I took this last week while on one of my morning walks,
Now I'm on the hunt for an old, rusty chair I can leave out
(Hopefully I'll find one during my treasure hunts)
Hmm, I'm looking, I'm looking
Not one here ~
Cute bird cage though...

I love these, I've never seen so many together~
I'll have to ask Brenda what they're called
Maybe hens and chicks?

My husband brought me roses (lucky me, every Friday)
This one just kept saying I'm perfect, so I took the photo
...to remember it always...

This is my favorite, the twilight~
Looking out a front window and the sun is just setting
on a beautiful Saturday evening

Everyone felt better Sunday and we went out walking and took
a tour of our town with camera in hand
early in the morning

(after the yummy Jasmine tea ;)

Can't wait to share since I took photos
of some beautiful late Summer flowers ~ and shops too.

Hope you're having a wonderful beginning of your week
...and looking forward to our long weekend ahead.

Wishing you an abundance of all things you love!

Looks like hen and chicks to me. But I've never seen so many together either... Your rose is abundantly lovely. Lucky girl, you! Yes, I love tomatoes. Had a few BLT's last week. (And added some slices of avocado.)

Hi Tracie,
I do love tomatoes. I like to just eat them by themselves with a little salt. Someday I am going to grow tomato plants. I have been saying that for years, well it might happen some year. I had to laugh about you looking for a rusty chair, I threw three of them in the garbage tonight and people snatched them right up. I am still in my purging phase. It feels so good. You should have seen my curb tonight. I actually had neighbors come and people stop and just start taking stuff. Hey, while hubby is gone, I am sorting and pitching!!! I am glad everyone is feeling better.

Miss you :(

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

So glad you guys are well! I loved your rose, too,(I would have that picture in a frame) and those Hens and Chicks--wow, what a huge mass of them. It will be so much fun to hunt for the perfect metal chair. I love to have a mission! It makes the hunt so much more fun. Your tomatoes and figues (I looked that up--you tricky chicky--it's FRENCH!!) look so good--did you raise the tomatoes?

Looking forward to your pictures of your Sun. walk. Dana

PS Thank you for your sweet words.

Well girl,
You sound much better. I'm so glad. I have been feasting on heirloom tomatoes from the farmers market the last couple days. Yum! Fresh tomatoes just make the best sandwichs. Reminds me of summers with my grandmother.
And lucky you on the roses. What a delicate color. Hope the rest of your week goes as well.
Kisses to Zeke,
Lisa & Alfie

Yum fruit... yuk tomatoes... but thay are very pretty! I like them in sauces, just not fresh.

I have to email you a photo of a chair I have similar to yours... it is still in my garden... I was going to fix it up and put it in the house... but instead I stuck a pot in the middle of it and I like it!

Your parcel is shipping first thing in the morning and I've added a surprise! YEA!

Lovely post Tracie...very refreshing. I love tomatoes at this time of year...my father in law had a garden back in the day and we'd be overrun with them..so delicious on their own or sliced on a sandwich with salt, pepper and mayo!!!

Hens and chickens when there are just a few look so "lost", but when they are packed together as these are they look spectacular!
