Which are You?

The Sun's shining through the windswept leaves...

The pumpkins are sitting on the cozy porch ;)

The Angel Trumphet has lots & lots of buds...
Can't wait to show you a photo once it blooms~
Do you know how sweet they smell once they do bloom?

My husband surprised me last night...
I have been talking Pecan Pie for over a week now...
So which are you? Pecan or Pumpkin Pie for you?
...Or ~ Maybe something else?

Have a sweet week - I will!

Au Revoir for now~

Oh Yum! DEFINITELY pecan!!!!!!! Probably my fave! I'm not eating sweets right now, oh well, I will enjoy it in my thoughts! Right? Can't wait to see your angel trumpets! I've never seen those. xo rachel

If I had to choose, I'd probably say pumpkin. Just like that creamy texture in my mouth. The angel trumpets are glorious, aren't they. My neighbor Walli has a pink one blooming. And she gave me smaller ones that haven't bloomed yet.

Ohhh Tracie... I love this post! Your pumpkins are adorable... I so wish I lived nearby so I could sit with you on your porch... I've never seen an Angel Trumpet or smelled one... just sounds Heavenly to me...

Your Husband is precious to bring you some Pecan Pie! If I had to pick between that or Pumpkin, it would be Pecan, for sure... but my all-time-favorite Pie is Lemon... Key Lime is a close second... Mmmmmmmmm... of course, I just eat the "guts" and leave the crust on my plate!

Hope you and your sweet family are doing well... God bless...

~hugs 'n prayers~

For me Pumpkin is only for the holidays. That's what makes it so special. But, any other time it is Southern Praline, which you can add pecans to and make the most deccadant pecan pie you have e-vuh put in your mouth. If you'd like, I can send you a sample box. It's from Taste of Gourmet, a little business in my home town of Indianola, Mississippi. They also have a Mississippi Mud pie that is to die for. If you are intrested, send your address to my e-mail (tiffanystaylor@hotmail.com)~Blessings!

Hi Tracey,
I agree with you regarding my shabby old house. We were days away from closing and when I drove up I just didn't feel the same about the house. It really wasn't the house I had been dreaming of.
It felt too museum like and not homey and not near enough gingerbread. The owners were so gracious in letting us out of our contract. We actually offered them 100,000 less and there were a whole lot of extras that we would have gotten too.
They ended up with a much sweeter deal and so did we.

Tracie,
Thank you for your visit and sweet comment. I adore your blog. And I was serious about sending you a sample box of pie if you'd like. I miss home so much and love to share with others what I love best about it. I know Mrs. Evelyn personally. In fact, my graduation tea and bridesmaids' luncheon was at her restaurant, the crown. Here is a link to the home page of her business, Taste of Gourmet.
