Rainy Weekend

I've been playing with my camera this weekend
even though the raindrops have been coming down

We've been inside staying cozy and warm
Just dreaming what Spring will be like...

Then, I catch a glimpse... yes, blossoms
on the apricot tree!

I'm popping back into my little studio to create
little works of art...
and of course, taking photos to add
special things to my shop
(well, trying - I like natural light the best
and there's not a lot of it here right now ;)

What have you been working on
while staying warm, dry and cozy?

Happy, happy week to everyone!

Au Revoir for now~

I love your photos with your new camera! Stunning! {I enjoy natural light too...and get a little frustrated on those darker days!} Can't wait to see your newest creations...just gushed about one of your last ones on my blog ;)

Tracie my little cherub, I've been practicing with our 2 cameras and am trying to perfect my photos also. If you've got any ideas let me know because I've put a tutorial on my sidebar that has helped me, BUT if you've got some suggestions, I wanna hear them, honey!!! Ours are Canon powershots cameras.

I love your ethereal photos though.

xoxo,
Connie

Hi Tracie,

It's raining here as well. I have several projects in my mind right now I want to work on. I'm actually finally putting a few things up on my walls (like my windows that I purchased off Craigslist). I screwed up a little last night though so I have to fix it before taking a picture! Hope you had a great weekend. I am finally over this cruddy cold!

Hi Tracie,

Love your photos ~ especially the pale pink roses are just gorgeous and love the way the droplets of rain are on the blossom branch.
Isn't it fun taking photos and seeing how they turn out!

Enjoy your week

The roses are beautiful. I have been working on my blog and also two new dresses-one is a civil war gown and the other a Regency gown:)

I can't believe that you have some blossoms on your tree. I am so jealous right now. We had about two inches of Snow over the weekend. But the weather is going to warm up a bit, I hope. I have been looking at my weeping pea tree to see if it has any buds on it yet.. I hope to see some soon.. Have a happy and joyful week.

Hugs;
Alaura

I love the photo of your window. It is so nice to see that spring is so close. I wish we could get rid of this ice, I want some nice rain and lot of blossoms.

I am planning lot of projects that are on my to do list for ever, but I haven't started anything yet. I am feeling much better now and in a day or two I guess I will have no excuse not to start some of it.

Love, Suzy

I keep saying that I'm going to take time to play with the camera but, like you, the natural like is my favorite and it's been sort of gloomy here lately. Spring is such a tease ;) Blessings... Polly

Ohmygosh, you have a Pyr! They are just the sweetest dogs. I had rescued one years ago, Willow. She passed away five years ago. She was such a sweetheart and great with my kitties just like yours.

Your blog is gorgeous!

Bon jour Tracie!

Your photos are so refreshing and uplifting! The hope of spring is such an anticipation isn't it? It can't come to soon this year! Seems like this winter has been sooo cold!

Thanks for your encouraging words about dieting. I'm trying to change how I eat permanently. I MUST be healthier in my eating habits to shed these extra lbs that I have carelessly added to my aging body. I want to function at my best in my "golden" years. I was not treating my body like the temple it's supposed to be!! That's for sure! Anytime you'd like to chat about dieting my ears are open!
Love the Front Porch Magazine! I'm so thrilled me sweet friend Linda @ Bluegate was in it!! How wonderful!!

A la prochaine, Sherry

(I'm learning French from darling Anita @ Crowns, Castles & Cottages. She has a lovely blog and is the most wonderful gal!)
