Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! That was the most inspirational thing I have ever seen. It is never too late to dream and to try and attain that dream. Her song choice was perfect! It just moved me to tears and I clapped and stood up at the end. Simon can say he was expecting her to be something exceptional, but his eyebrows when she hit those first notes said different. Fantastic!

Tracie..I had NOT seen it..I loved it..THANK you!

I was quite the little underdog in my young teens and this just sends me to the moon in a great way!
I am so excited for her..The people that mocked her .. :(
I don't know the middle person's name in the judges there..But I do like her..

Last yr..Paul Potts was my hero..My daughters gave me tickets to see him here in MTL.. w/ them..I loved the show. He was as humble and as talented as I had hoped for..Now I am rooting for Susan.
I hope she wins.
She has my vote.
Yay for Susan Boyle.

Hi Tracie, My husband and I saw it this morning on the news. It was so amazing. I looked over at my husband and he had tears in his eyes and then said "this is going to be big." I think she is perfectly lovely and her voice is definitly a gift to all of us.

A friend of mine sent this video to me yesterday, and I cried through the whole thing. It made me so angry that everyone, judges and audience, were ready to dismiss her without even hearing her...as if appearance has anything to do with talent. I thought she was lovely and has the voice of an angel. I guess she proved everyone wrong who had pre-judged her!

Okay, that is twice in two days I have become speechless! I had chills run through my body! She is amazing. I was over at My Sepia Studio blog and she had one yesterday from this show...you should see that one as well! I think his name was Paul Potts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__Gs02ZmUmE

I saw this too! Proves the old addage..."you can't judge a book by its cover"...Isn't is sad that as human beings we are so quick to judge a person on their outward appearance? Did you notice her bubbly, sweet, honest personality in spite of the life that she has had to live? Another STAR is born! Thanks Tracie!

Hi Tracie,

Isn't she amazing - she brought tears to my eyes.
I hope that she will have the same luck as Paul Potts had.
She sang so well and needs a lucky break ~ I hope that she wins.

Her voice is incredible. The term " don't judge a book by it's cover" does apply here rather well, doesn't it?!

Isn't she amazing! And the new song that is out there now...the one she had recorded a few years back for a benefit. It's Cry Me A River and is even MORE moving, if that is possible!
I hope her fairy tale continues and grows...

Hi Tracie
I have never watched the programme but it came up as one of the headline news items when I logged on to read my emails the other day. I clicked on it out of curiousity and I was stunned at what I heard! Susan Boyle's voice is truly amazing, so beautifully sung.
It will be nice to hear more songs sung by her. Have a great weekend.
