Memorial Day Long Weekend

From My Walking Tour...
To Yours~

Our Town to Yours

And Our Porch to Your Porch...

Have a Thankful Memorial Day Weekend

We're heading out to our town's
wonderful Twilight Parade and will
attend many events over the weekend.

I'll be making ginger chicken and here's the recipe
if you're interested, it's delicious!

Please don't forget the true meaning of Memorial Day

Let us, then, at the time appointed, gather around their sacred remains, and garland the passionless mounds above them with choicest flowers of springtime; let us raise above them the dear old flag they saved; let us in this solemn presence renew our pledge to aid and assist those whom they have left among us a sacred charge upon the Nation's gratitude—the soldier's and sailor's widow and orphan.

Yes, we are both a little wacky about our animals, but I'll tell you, I've met a lot of folks that come and go...I don't miss them a bit, but let me think I don't know where one of my animals is and I panic!
