Heart Warmingly Good

I found something wonderful last night thanks to someone I follow on Twitter (Winecountrydog) that, of course, is here in beautiful Wine Country.

It has warmed my heart and touched me so I wanted to share it with all of you.

As you may know, one of the best men in the world to me... my very, very loving step-dad and more importantly great friend is suffering with cancer.

This has touched me beyond words and I hope you'll enjoy it and carry sweet Baxter in your heart. He's with the angels now but what a life and what a difference he made while here on Earth.

Happiness to You!

Oh Tracie I cried from the start to the finish! It was just so touching but also painful to watch as the emotions of losing my FIL 2 mos ago are still so raw.

My heart goes out to you during this difficult time and I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.

Big hugs to you sweetie...

Tracie,

I was lucky enough to meet Baxter about a year and half ago when I was working in San Diego. I happened upon Baxter and his owners in a parking lot in Balboa Park. I was so taken by him, I couldn't take my eyes off him. The owners were just about to publish a book about Baxter.

I was so saddened to hear he died last week. He was an angel on earth.

Please know you and your Dad are in my thoughts.

Still thinking of you and your precious step dad Tracie.

I can't view the video on my dial-up or I would be sitting here all night, but I am sure it is very touching.
Hugs and blessings for you!

Tracie that was so beautiful. It amazes me...the love of a dog. They are such healers and helpers.
I'm sending you a big hug today and maybe you can pass it on to your dad. I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this.
Hugs,
June

Tracie,
Thank you for sharing this with us. My mother recently lost her brief battle with cancer. When I visited with her she would always ask about our cocker spaniel, Cocoa, whom she just adored. The video of Baxter brought tears and fond memories. I was saddened even more to learn that he died last week. Our pets can give so much unconditional love! I'm also saddened that your father-in-law is so ill. He is in our prayers, as are all those who suffer from terminal illness.
xo,
Cheryl

Somehow...this evening I've been guided to come here...wondering if I should volunteer my time to hospice. My father is very ill suddenly due to Doctors' mistakes and I think not too far from passing on to eternal life in heaven. It saddens me how so many are alone in these conditions...scared and anxiety ridden. We siblings spent 30 days, 24 hours a day doing shifts, with Papa. Unfortunately, I could not stay with him and my siblings and I had to get back to our homes and children and life. I am saddened to have left him in the Acute Facility where they are trying to rehabilitate him in another state. Please pray that he either heals or moves on to heaven where he will be pain free once again.

My father was an incredible individual. Please visit TesoroFino.blogspot.com where you will see a post of how amazing he really was throughout his life!

Thank you for inspiring me to make a difference in a persons' life when they are at the crossings of this life and on to another.

Tracie,
I wanted to see this video the other day when I stopped by but knew it would make me cry. I had a friend stopping by and I didn't want to have "puffy eyes" Sounds stupid now!
Seeing this sweet little dog giving people comfort is so incredible. He was an angel!

My thoughts are with you and your family Tracie.

Hugs....Carole
