Farm Fresh

Oh how I love this time of year...
Come on, let's go to the local farmer's market!

Held twice a week for twice the fun!

This man has the nicest plants
want, want, want that succulent
didn't get and now can't stop thinking about it

I can feel my husband rolling his eyes...
More plants for the yard?
Always more plants!

Here's a great sight... The Jimtown Truck
(the old county fire truck... long, long ago)

And here... Jimtown Goodies ~ yum!
By the way, I have that cookbook and it's fantastic
(macaroni & cheese w/poblano chiles

a favorite in this house for sure!)

Saw the one & only Carrie Brown here,
why didn't I take her photo?

She's darling!

Just what we need, more tomatoes
(bought a black cherry tomato plant,
can't wait to try this Summer)

Some very pretty lavender...
didn't know there were so many different types

Nothing more to say than... Yum!

Beautiful dried herbs and flowers

Don't you love this bicycle? I do!
Well, time to go back home on my virtual bike
and add those beautiful cherries
to my breakfast menu out in the yard ;)

Did I mention dessert?
Don't forget to stop for your bouquet
to celebrate this Mother's Day weekend
(whether you're one terrific mom, dad,
uncle or aunt, etc.!)

Have a nice weekend filled with beauty.

Happiness to You!

Hi Tracie... oooh, I love Farmer's Markets! Ours doesn't start here until June, and I can hardly wait! Everything looks so pretty and the food looks so yummy! I love succulents too, and Jack is buying me some today for Mother's Day... our west patio gets sooo hot, I think they will do great out there in a whiskey barrell... Wishing you a beautiful Mother's Day! xoxo Julie Marie

I love Farmer's Markets too and can't wait to go to the Healdsburg one which is one of my favorites. We love going to the Ferry Building in SF for theirs too.

That is one beautiful Farmer's Market. I've followed the story of the Jimtown store for many years. So nice to see their presence at your market.

Hi Tracie,
I LOVE Farmer's Markets too, but the closest one to us is about 17 miles away. We do have a little produce stand up the road IF it is open this year. I sure hope so!!
Have a wonderful Mother's Day!!

I love the farmers market... we have one right across the street once a week but sadly - it s-u-x's
There are about 5 sorry vendors - I am almost ready to go to the chamber of commerce and volunteer to take over. YOURS on the other hand looks wonderful - macarons???? At the flea market?
I have my work cut out for me today - making them to fill Mothers Day orders! A trip to your market would make a lovely reward afterwards... love that bouquet!

Macarons at a Farmer's Market - wow!

I love them so. And that bike is to die for - I actually ride to work when it's nice, and it would be nicer to ride on THAT!
