Herb Project

How was your weekend?

Mine was fantastic, filled with projects.
I didn't finish my potting shed yet or the side yard,
but I'm working as hard as I can to show you!

Put some of my herbs to good use while I was
clearing out my little potting area.

I love the herbs rosemary and lavender so much
with their fragrances mixed together

I decided to make wreaths for My Petite Maison
A little rosemary, lavender and a tiny bit of sage.

We have tons of sage... growing in the ground,
containers, well every where!

The rosemary plant is so big it's taking over
one side of the house!

See, Buttercup's impressed for certain ;)

It's so hot now, the rose is wilted
or I should say dried, but I think that just adds
to it's beauty.

What are your favorite herbs and do you
like to mix fragrances too?

Happiness to you

Hi Tracie... your wreath is so pretty, and yes, I do think Buttercup is impressed, (but maybe she was hoping it was catnip!)...I love all herbs, but I guess one of my favorites is my mint... love to put it in tea... xoxo Julie Marie

Buonasera Tracie,
my weekend was fantastic too! 2 days of soldering and making bling babies. Thank you for stopping by the other day....I have few projects too in the garden but the HEAT is stopping me to finish. I love herbs too. The problem is that almost all of them make me hungry! Especially Rosemary Chicken. Have a great week. Ciao Rita mammabellarte

What a pretty wreath for your lovely gate! I love mixing thyme with sage and lavender in wreaths. The lavender helps with the strong fragrance of the fresh sage leaves.

Just beautiful Tracie! I love rosemary anything! lol I adore all kinds of herbs, but am allergic to some of them. Rosemary is a favorite although we can't grow it here like you can. I have never seen a rosemary in flower. Usually mine stay in the pot until fall and then that is the end of them.
Blessings~

Tracie what a wonderful idea for a wreath.
Next time I am expecting visitors I think I might make one. How fabulous it would smell as they approached my front door.

Your wreath is gorgeous! I love lavender and planted some just this year. Perhaps there will be flowers next year? :)

I can't grow lavender, but if I could...oh mama! Crazy as it sounds, but I love parsley. I put it in everything.
Lovely wreath with just the right touches.

Probably my favorites are the mints and lemon verbena. Also I love lemon balm. But then on the non-sweet side of the spectrum, you can't beat rosemary. I like sage, and my lavender in the fairy garden is getting really big.
