Weekend Plans & Talking Pets

A very quick wish for you
for a happy weekend

I'll be here cleaning up this side area...

And here... so much cleaning up to do back
here in this little corner and up in the vines!

I'm planning a little potting area on the side of my shack...
Think I'm going to hang a couple of flea market finds
and maybe bring out a piece of vintage furniture too.

Can't wait to get started!

And, of course, hang out with this guy...
Did I mention my hubby's been working on a project
that takes him away from home for quite some time now
and Zeke has listened to me going on and on
for weeks & weeks on end?

I can't believe Zeke doesn't know how to speak yet,
I'm trying my hardest to get some kind of feedback
from this French Oaf.

Aren't animals just the best loneliness busters?

Don't know what I'd do without you, Zeke!
His latest nickname is Fluff Munchkin
He seems to like it as long as I'm getting
ready to give him something real tasty
(or he thinks I'm going to that is ;)

See, he's giving YOU a flower for the weekend!

What are your plans?
Will you be working in the garden
or making something special to eat
from your garden?

Happiness to you!

Awwww...your pup is adorable. I noticed the flower right away!

I have a lot of little projects lined up for the weekend that add up to very little time to relax. But I have had a quiet week so that is okay! I like your idea for a potting station!

Oh I love it when I can peek into your world. Your garden is such a beautiful place Tracie. Wish I could come over and help with your clean up. What perfect plans for a weekend with Zeke. I will be tranplanting a few things and digging up some daylilies to share with friends. I think I will make a tomato and cucumber salad from the garden too.
I loved your White Wednesday post! What amazing pictures from your beautiful corner of the world!
hugs to you...

Hi Tracie!

A lovely post, beautiful pictures!

And I really love your petit white corner (last post), what a wonderful spot!

You wondered about my porcelain cutting boards. The one by the stove is very old (probably about 80 years old)but there are new ones for sale. I have bought a few of them. I think they are from Danish brand House Doctor, or Ib Laursen.

Perfect when you cut onions or lemons :)

Wishing you a great evening!
