My Petite Maison in Romantic Country Magazine, 2012

Hello Friends,

As many of you know (yes, the lovely cat's out of the bag and in mail boxes and at newsstands everywhere)  My Petite Maison is featured in the beautiful Romantic Country Magazine just out for Spring, 2012.

To say I'm over the Moon is an understatement for certain!
My Petite Maison (the house) featured, Spring 2012
I have long been a fan of the magazine, so filled with lovely inspiration for the soul.

My husband and I along with our beloved My Petite Maison pets Zeke, Giles and Buttercup were blessed to have my dear friend and the most talented lady in the world, Fifi O'Neill and photographer Mark Lohman visit our small cottage/maison in Wine Country last summer in July.  It was a cool, summer day... the heat wave was a thing of the past and everything just fell into lovely, lovely place!

I have to include my very treasured photo of that day here with you again.  I know, my dear friends, you will understand for so many reasons and I love you for it.

Here are a few low resolution photos I'd love to share with you of the Romantic Country Magazine feature.

I know many of you already subscribe to the magazine but I wanted to mention that you can find this magazine in Northern California at Safeway & at Wal-Mart too if you're looking to pick a copy up at stores.
Also, I'm giving 2 copies of the magazine away here on my blog.  Just leave a comment if you don't already receive the magazine and we'll send a copy to 2 people in the next couple of weeks... we'll have our daughter pick 2 names out of a French-Country hat (of course!).

I'd also like to mention, my friend Polly (Counting Your Blessings) is featured in the issue and another dear friend, Anne (Fiona and Twig) has her photography published in RC as well.  Please go pay them a visit!

Lastly many thanks to Romantic Country Magazine and Editor, Mary Forsell for featuring our place of residence, My Petite Maison.  We had the time of our lives the day of the photo shoot with Fifi and Mark, it won't be a day we'll soon forget... it lives in our mind and forever in our hearts!

Please visit My Petite Maison
and Twitter too!

Congratulations! I can imagine the excitement and thrill you must feel as the issue is finally on the stands.

Congratulations. That didn't take long at all to go from shooting to shining. Hmmm...I'm thinking there's a different sofa at the Petite Maison
Looking at that photo, I remember thinking how lucky Fifi was to be nose to nose with such a handsome fellow. I know that with dogs, as with humans, there is no such thing as perfect, but...I think you and I came as close as possible to owning perfection with our dogs.

The feature on your gorgeous home was so inspiring! I've studied it repeatedly this past week, it's so gorgeous!

I know that as exciting as this is, it's bittersweet what with Zeke not being here. That's how I felt after my Artful Blogging article was published, it was thrilling, but my dear mama passed away just before it hit the stands. It's hard to celebrate when your heart is hurting.

You are a beautiful, loving soul, and I am so happy for all the recognition you are getting, You so deserve it!

Congratulations Tracie! Of course I love the Romantic Home Magazine. I'm a fan of Romantic Country too... I've yet to figure out if it's the same magazine though. I hit the stands to look for them each month.

Your living room is gorgeous! I really like how the sofa color pulls in the aged pieces to make everything you've used to accessorize with blend. I'm terrible with getting hung up on one or two colors and forgetting to ground a room at times. Oops. lol. Can't wait to actually have the copy in my hands to read. I've often thought about having two copies; one to destroy and cut out pics and the other to keep. I re-read them over and over because it's just so pretty and something new pops out each time.

Count me in on your giveaway pretty please:)

Thank you and Blessings to you.

Oh Tracie, How exciting for you to be featured in this magazine! I actually subscribe to the Romantic Homes Magazine ~ now going on about 15 years. It's the only magazine I won't drop in these economic times. That says a lot about the magazine, doesn't it? I'm not familiar with the Romantic Country Magazine...I'd love to see what it looks like. I live in GA ~ I'm guessing I could locate it here in my stores. I'll have to check. Can't wait to see if I win one of the copies ~ I'll keep my fingers crossed! I adore Flea Market finds, and the layouts that you have in this post are definitely my cup of tea! Speaking of tea, the name of my one blog is
