Happy September!

We had a great long Labor Day weekend and are just back to work today.  I tried to spend a lot of time in the yard this weekend, but it was really hot.  I love puttering around my zinc topped cabinet, I found it many years ago in a hole in the wall antique shop in Windsor, California.  Our daughter and I painted it white and I think it's about time for another coat of paint, as it's been outside for about 2 years now.

Here are a couple photos of Bechet from the hot days of summer.  It is so nice to have a dog here at My Petite Maison again and a little cat to keep us all company as well.

I love this photo! Isn't he cute?

I hope you're enjoying your days with a four-legged friend or two to enter into our upcoming, cozy autumn weather with long walks or just cozying up at home/maison.

Have a happy week and happy September!

I think I want a Great Pyrenees puppy now, Tracie. lol! What a darling!!! It's been hot here, too. Too hot to do any productive gardening. But autumn is knocking at our door, thank goodness. I'm ready for jeans, sweatshirts, and woolly socks. :)
